WHO ARE WE?
“The original company was started by my great-grandfather and grandfather in 1947, which makes this our 76th year in business,” stated Chad Buck, president of Buck Brothers Asphalt Paving & Concrete, Toledo, Ohio. “My sons Zach and Jacob are now heavily involved, making them the 5th generation. I remember my first year was 1991 and after completing my first day, I told my father this is not what I’m doing for the rest of my life… and 32 years later I’m still here! My dad knew me better than I thought.”

Chad Buck’s family has been providing Toledo with the best in asphalt paving at first focusing on paving asphalt driveways and small parking lots. Today, the company offers a diverse set of services:

Growing up in the business, Chad realized there was an opportunity to provide maintenance services to asphalt owners. Believing he could provide a quality job and service to customers in the Toledo area, the company has been servicing some of the same driveways and parking lots that his father and grandfather had installed.

In 1997, Chad created Buck Brothers Asphalt Maintenance, a specialized service dealing with the seal-coating and crack filling of driveways, parking lots, and athletic surfaces like tennis courts. At first, Chad was running the sealcoat business on the weekends since his dad and uncles wanted nothing to do with it. Their thoughts were always that money could not be made in sealing, but rather only in actual pavement installs.
“Let’s just say I proved them wrong,” Buck said. “I was making more money on weekends then working with the actual company all week. In the coming years, I also started attending NPE, the National Pavement Expo, where I was exposed to new products, innovative methods, technologies, and practices that have helped shape our subsequent success.”

RECENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Today Buck Brothers has grown considerably, being voted as one of the Top 100 seal-coating companies in the USA by Pavement Magazine in both 2002 and 2003.

In recent years, Buck Brothers Asphalt Paving & Concrete has continued to be recognized as a quality commercial and residential asphalt paving, service and maintenance contractor in Toledo and Northwest Ohio.
